A: We are able to accept orders within Australia and internationally.

BILLING PROCESS

Q: What forms of payment are accepted for online purchases, and when am I billed?
A: Timothy K accepts VISA, MASTERCARD using ANZ egate facility ( meaning all your payment details are dealt with by ANZ bank), Paypal and TIMOTHY K GIFT CARDS. Please be aware that once we receive credit card authorization, the funds will be reserved up to 30 days depending on the bank (please check the policy of your lending institution). ORDER CONFIRMATION

Q: How will I know if my order is confirmed?
A: If you provided a valid email address during the Checkout process, you will receive two emails after your order is placed. The first confirms the details of your order. The second email notifies you your order has shipped and contains your Timothy K order tracking number. Please note some Tracking numbers may not be available until 3 days after shipping.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Q: Can I make changes to my online order?
A: Because we pride ourselves in processing your orders quickly and efficiently, once your order has been confirmed, we can no longer cancel or modify your order. Please see our return policy for additional information.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Q: How can I track the status of my order?
A: Your Timothy K tracking number will be included in your shipment confirmation email.

OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS

Q: What if I place an order and Timothy K doesn't have the item in stock?
A: While we make every effort to maintain an ample supply of our stock, occasionally we run out of certain items. Out-of-stock items will be removed from your original order total and a revised total will appear in your shipping confirmation email. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept back orders at this time.


Gifts

GIFT ORDERS

Q: How do I place a gift order?

A: You may include a brief message on the final page of your order confirmation. The gift message will be included within the order box and sent to the reciever of your gift. The billing information will be sent to your nominated billing address.

GIFT CARDS

Q: Can I purchase or redeem a Timothy K Gift Card online?
A: Yes click on the gift card item in the menu, add the gift card to your shopping cart and on the next page select the gift card amount and add it to your shopping cart, just like a purchase.  Once your have completed and paid for your order you will be sent a e-card, an email based gift card that can be forwarded to who ever you want (it's that easy). All gift cards are issued in Australian dollers and are valid for 12 months from purchase.

To redeem your Gift card simply add your desired product to the timothyk shopping cart and during checkout, add your unique coupon number that is printed on your e-card and the total amount will be adjusted to take into account the e-card amount.

Q: When is my order shipped?
A: Orders placed during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST) are typically processed and shipped within one business day. Please allow for an average of one additional business day for processing. If your shipping information does not match your billing information, there may be a delay in order processing. For consumer protection, all orders are subject for review, including credit card authorization and verification. On occasion, this may cause a slight delay in processing your order. Your patience is greatly appreciated. Business days are limited to M-F 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST, not including holidays. No Saturday or Sunday deliveries. Once an order has been processed, delivery time depends on the chosen shipping method

Delivery times depend on a Parcel’s place of origin and its destination. Based on this, Australia Post has the following delivery times:

A: If you would like to send a shipment to more than one address, you will have to place separate online orders for each destination


Refunds & Returns

RETURN POLICY

Q: What is Timothy K 's Return Policy?
A: Timothy K gladly accepts the return or exchange of full-priced merchandise purchased from TimothyK.com.au with the receipt identification for up to 30 days after purchase. We'll happily accept the return or exchange of unworn, unwashed or defective items. Full-priced merchandise returns are refunded in the method of original payment. If the item was a gift purchased online, send it back to Timothy K to receive a gift card redeemable online. Sale merchandise may be exchanged only. Please see  

RETURNS BY MAIL, & EXPRESS EXCHANGES

Q: How can I return or exchange merchandise ordered from Timothy K?
A: Simply following the convenient options stated below to make a return or exchange:

    Packages must be returned pre-paid; we are unable to accept COD deliveries. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail. Please send your pre-paid, insured package to:

Refunds are processed when item(s) are received. Refunds are given for the price indicated on the original documents and any applicable taxes. Shipping charges are not refunded on international transactions. Credits for returned merchandise will be issued to the original credit card only. RETURNS WITHOUT RECEIPT

Q: What if I need to make a return, but I've lost my original receipt?

GIFT RETURNS

Q: How do I return an item I received as a gift?
A: Send it back to Timothy K, along with your Name and current email address, within 30 days of the original purchase to receive a gift card redeemable online.

IMPORTANT: We do not provide refunds for returning unwanted gifts or gift cards. 


Dressing Tips

Stuck on what tie to wear with which shirt? Here are some guidelines that you should keep in mind when updating your shirt and tie collection.

WARDROBE STAPLES

Everyone should own a crisp white shirt, along with either a pale blue or light grey shirt as wardrobe staples. These basics are the most versatile and are very easy to match. They’re also appropriate for most dress codes, and are appropriate for almost any occasion.

GET CREATIVE

How conservatively you dress is of course dictated by your working enviroment or the dress code of a special occasion. Although with today’s massive variety or patterned shirts it shouldn’t be a problem to find an updated alternative to your basics.

Whether striped, checkered, textured or plaid there is a tie out there to match your choice. However, as this is unfamiliar territory for a lot of guys, here are some fool proof guidelines.

When coordinating your outfit always aim to stick to three colours.

Anymore than three and your on your way to committing serious fashion faux pas. More than three colours should only be attempted, with caution, by the most advanced style gurus. Don’t underestimate simple.

Striped shirts with striped ties ARE ok together as long as the stripes are not identical in size. Otherwise you could be in danger or blending into a barber pole.

Avoid, at all costs wearing matching patterns across the whole outfit. This means that a checkered shirt, tie and suit combo is a definitely not good. If you’re combining a striped shirt and tie, then stick to a plain suit.

When choosing a tie to wear, keep in mind that one colour in your tie should match preferably your shirt, or if not, then definitely your suit.

Wearing solid coloured shirts with a matching solid coloured tie is slightly out-dated and is reminiscent of high-school formals. For a formal look, consider a matching tie that has textured medium to thick stripes.

If you’re going to venture down the polka-dot path, keep it very simple.

Likewise with other unique or uncommon patterns. Looney Tunes characters, soccer balls and treble clefs are never appropriate and should be illegal. I think.

The most important thing is to never be afraid to try. Always have fun and be prepared to change, that way you will always fill your wardrobe with an outfit for every occasion.


Tie Maintenance

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Q: How should I care for my Timothy K products?
A: To fully enjoy your new Timothy K products, make sure you read the item's label and follow the care instructions.

Here are a few more tips for keeping your items looking their very best.

Ties are made of delicate fabrics such as silk. And if you want your tie to always have a new look and last, like any precious material it needs to be treated with care.

It is difficult to remove stains and very often the tie is permanently ruined. Even if you manage to get the stain out of the tie, the cleaning process may damage the tie and it may not look as nice as before. Hence, be careful in general with delicate fabrics andbe careful not to get any stains on the tie in the first place.

If unfortunately you spill something on your tie, blot the stain with a tissue or handkerchief. Remember not to rub the stain as this will enlarge the affected area.

After that you may use a moistened washcloth to rub the stain slightly and see if the stain can be removed.

Then use a hair-drier to get rid of the moistness left. Do not hold the hair-drier too close to the tie since high temperature can damage the fabric and remember use a very low heat setting and be patient with it drying.

If that's not successful, you may try cleaning it in water bt hand making sure this is not hot. (Note: The tie may shrink if you clean it with water. Also, you must not put a tie in a washing machine.) Soak the stain in water and slightly rub the stain with your hand.Remeber its a delicate fabric. 

If a mild cleaning agent is used, you should first apply a little of it at the back of your tie (or other not easily seen places) to check if the cleaning agent will weaken the colour or damage the fabric of the tie, leave the tested area for about 20-30 mins to allow the agent to take effect,before moving onto the stained area. 

Another choice is to send your tie to a dry-cleaner. However, note that the chemicals used in dry-cleaning may damage your tie, even if the dry-cleaner is among the best ones. Furthermore, a silk tie will lose its shine after dry-cleaning. Remember to point out the stain to the dry-cleaner. This ensures that the dry-cleaner will pay attention to the stain during the dry-cleaning process.
